In the Ecotoxicology laboratory cultures of freshwater and marine algae (Rhodomonas salina, Raphidocelis subcapitata) and crustaceans (Daphnia magna, Acartia tonsa) are established in climate rooms and incubators (15, 20, 26°C). Short term tests (acute tests on crustaceans, growth inhibition tests on algae) as well as long-term tests (reproduction tests with crustaceans) are performed. Instruments include: Multisizer (Coulter) Counter, flourometer, Microscope, Low magnifying microscope equipped with picture grabbing, Biotox (Microtox) luminometer.
