In the changing world of today, there is an urgent need for engineers with the ability to identify, prevent and solve environmental problems in a global context. As department we are on the leading edge of developing and promoting environmental friendly and sustainable technologies. The department aims to educate tomorrow’s creative, responsible, influential and globally cognizant environmental engineers corresponding to the societal needs.

The Department offers following researched-based programs:

• 3 Years Bachelor Program in Environmental Technology
  (180 ECTS-creditpoints) The program is partly taught in Danish and partly in English. The program starts in September each year
  
  
• 2 Years Master Programs in:  Environmental Engineering (120 ECTS-points) The programs are fully taught in English. The programmes start in September each year.
  
  
• 3 Years Ph.D. Program - English instruction
  
  
• Continuing Education
  
  
• Combined degrees with other institutions

Courses, field work and projects are based on a multidisciplinary approach to solve environmental problems.

The department has a well established laboratory infrastructure and the students are offered the possibility to obtain training in a range of laboratory techniques and other skills, including field techniques applicable to environmental science and technology.

All our graduates have excellent opportunities to proceed directly into employment in the private or public environmental sector as consultants/managers, or they may choose to apply for a doctoral study.
