The MSc Program in Environmental Engineering will give you a research-based education with strong focus on technical and environmental sciences and with many options and large flexibility.

You will be educated to work with environmental development and research to meet the needs of the local and global society. You will learn to take part in the development of sustainable solutions to complicated societal problems taking into consideration environmental and health aspects, economy and resources.

The education is based on a mixture of lectures, group work, projects and exercises in lab or field or using mathematical models. The topics cover a wide range of environmental areas with special focus on environmental technology and management as well as water resources.

The program has five broad areas of specialization, so called study lines:

• Residual Resources Engineering
• Environmental Chemistry and Microbiology
• Environmental Management
