The Department of Environmental Engineering offers a 1:1 program in Environmental Engineering in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The program is of two years duration with students being enrolled at either DTU or TUM and completing one year at each University. Students obtain a MSc degree at the institution at which they are enrolled.
See also DTUs 1:1 Webpage.
Students starting at DTU must pass a number of General Competence Courses at DTU adding up to 25 ECTS and a number of Technology Specialization Courses at DTU adding up to 30 ECTS
Students must complete a Master Thesis of at least 30 ECTS credit points within the Environmental Engineering field (at TUM: a Project of 15 ECTS + a Master Thesis of 30 ECTS). The thesis must be jointly supervised and examined by both institutions.
Students must pass a sufficient number of Elective Courses to bring the total number of ECTS credit points of the entire study up to at least 120 ECTS credit points
At the start of their study, students must complete a study plan showing all courses they intend to take as part of their 1:1 MSc. The study plan must be approved by the program coordinators from both DTU and TUM.
