The Department of Environmental Engineering (DTU Environment) is part of the Technical University of Denmark and both the Institute and the University have a long tradition of collaboration with the public and private sectors. The Institute’s collaborative work is based on its core competencies in environment and resource management. Collaboration with external partners enhances both research and education and strengthens ties to external stakeholders.
DTU Environment has many external partnerships and these take the following forms:
-
Collaborative Projects
- Research Partnerships
- Continuing Education
- Consultancy Services
- Newly industrialised and developing countries
- Commercialisation
- Invitation to collaborate
Each type of partnership is based on agreements on intellectual property rights (IPR), ownership of the results, and right to publish the results and has its own cost structure.
Collaboration with external partners is central to the mission of the institute. |
