Research projects
DTU Environment has many research projects financed by National and International bodies, National Research Councils, the EU and other financial sources. DTU Environment wishes to enhance research collaboration by involving the private and public sector, including Danish and international institutions in these projects.
In research projects, rights to the results of the project are held jointly by the partners, who have produced or contributed to the results generated.
DTU Environments educations programs include midterm projects and masters and Ph.D. thesis research and these are often conducted collaboratively with external partners. In addition many students also choose to include additional project work in their curricula (special courses) in collaboration with external partners. The projects can involve Danish and/or foreign students, and the project work can take place in Denmark or abroad. The Institute has international project experience with partners from Europe, USA, Latin America, China, India, South East Asia and many other countries.
Institutions, organisations, the private and public sector are invited to contact the coordinators of DTU Environment’s research groups to investigate possible future student projects. DTU Environment maintains a database of possible student project topics.
