Chemical Lab

The Chemical laboratory has methods for detection and characterization of a range of nutrients and other inorganic chemical compounds present in water resources, urban water, sewage, sediment and solid waste. This includes techniques as conductivity and pH, spectrophotometric measurements, test kits, autoanalyzer for measuring ammonium, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, titrations for chloride, oxygen, calcium and total alkalinity. COD and BOD is used for determination chemical and biological oxygen demands and Kjeldahl for nitrogen in organic material.
