DTU Environment is offering a new PhD course on Advanced Topics in Urban Water Modelling together with guest lecturers from Aalborg University and several Danish utility companies.

The course will take place from June 11th to 15th, 2018 (with an option for two additional days)

This year the PhD course will focus on fit-for-purpose models within an urban drainage context. We will address models that work across time scales that span real-time operations on short horizons (seconds-days) and planning/system design on long horizons (months-decades), and how they can be used to achieve different goals.

During the course, participants will be travelling across Denmark as each day of the course will be hosted by one of the utility companies from the three largest cities in the country. At the end of the course, there will be an optional weekend boot camp at the Swedish island of Hven.

The deadline for applications is May 1st, 2018.

For more information, please find the course leaflet (link) as well as the course website.
